Work packages

To reach the goal of our DHU (i.e. accelerate the transfer to patients of the therapeutic and palliative innovations in the field of sensory disorders), five complementary dimensions are necessary:

  • assessment of current pathologies and patterns of care;
  • providing key information to characterize and diagnose;
  • an understanding and modeling of the sensory disorders;
  • the discovery of new scientific and therapeutic strategies
  • and, finally, implementation and dissemination of innovations

These thus offer the possibility of assessing such innovations. This would create a continuous, virtuous cycle of scientific and therapeutic progress. In order to complete these improvement loops, 4 work-packages have been elaborated. Each of them contributes to progress in at least one of the  four dimensions (the assessment, characterization, understanding, discovery and implementation of therapeutic innovations) of our global approach. They all serve the global goal of our DHU.
